STUDIO POLICIES 2020-2021

  1. Tuition and Payment: Monthly tuition reserves your weekly time slot and covers cost of lesson planning, repertoire selection, photocopying, etc. My teaching calendar for 2020-2021 runs November 1 – June 30. Tuition is based on the number of lessons in the year and includes a nominal registration and recital fee. This year there are 28 lessons with one extra lesson on the calendar in the event of an absence (see Attendance and Makeups).

Tuition Rates

30-Minute Private Lesson:  300₪ per month

1-Hour Private Lesson:  550₪ per month

1-Hour Group Lesson:  280₪ per month

  • Payment is due on the 1st of the month (by the Gregorian calendar, not Hebrew dates). Payments can be made via Israeli bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle. Invoices and receipts are sent via email.

  • A 20₪ late fee applies to payments received after the 5th of the month.

   2.  Materials: Cost of purchasing method books and sheet music is not included in the lesson tuition. Students need to purchase the Full Voice method books. Students must keep a binder of their sheet music and have a notebook to take notes during lessons.  I also encourage recording lessons to review concepts and track progress.

   3.  Attendance & Makeups:

  • Due to limited availability, makeup lessons will not be given. To accommodate a potential missed lesson, the last week of June is designated as a “Bonus” Makeup Week. This is the opportunity to make up one missed lesson during the year. The “bonus” is that if you didn’t miss any lessons, you get an extra one! There will also be two additional Performance Classes (group lessons where students sing for each other) during the year that can be used to make up for a missed lesson. Students not making up a lesson can still sign up.

  • If I am unable to teach a scheduled lesson, you will receive a makeup lesson.

  • Video lesson makeups may be provided throughout the year at my discretion.

  • If you should decide to discontinue lessons, one month’s notice is required. No refunds are given.

  • If you are ill, please do not come to an in-person lesson. If you are well enough to sing, the lesson can take place over Zoom.

   4.  Online Lessons:

  • During times of lockdown or increased cases of illness in Israel due to COVID-19, lessons will take place on Zoom. Lessons will take place in-person at my discretion if within the Ministry of Health guidelines.

  • Online lessons can be just as effective as in-person. Just be sure to be in a quiet space where you can sing freely and uninterrupted. Using headphones can be helpful.
